Lawrence Dodd | Matthew Crilley | Aaron R. Prinkey | Manuel L. Mateus
Education
Dr. Dodd entered the Chiropractic profession with an impressive educational background. He has ten years of concentrated undergraduate and graduate work. In addition, he has two years of intensive post-doctorate study. He holds three degrees: A Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering with an emphasis in Ergonomics (Human Factors Engineering), a Master of Science in Sports Medicine with an emphasis in prevention and care of athletic injury, and a Doctor of Chiropractic with an emphasis in extremity manipulation and pediatrics. His post-doctorate hours include board certifications in CCSP (Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician) and CCEP (Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner).
Professional Affiliations
Dr. Dodd is a Chiropractic Consultant for the North Carolina State University Athletic Department, USAW Olympic Weightlifting (Team Savannah), and many professional athletes. He is currently Chairman of the Sports Injury Council, and a former president of the Eastern District of the North Carolina Chiropractic Association.
Personal Information
Dr. Dodd is a Raleigh native and a graduate of Millbrook High School, where he excelled in football and track. While attending North Carlina State University on a football scholarship, Dr. Dodd suffered a career-ending neck injury. The injury introduced him to the field of Chiropractic Sports Medicine, a blessing in disguise, which changed his direction in life.
Dr. Dodd and his wife Ginny delight in their four children, two girls and two boys. They are actively involved in their church with the children's and men's ministries. Dr. Dodd serves as a board member of the local chapter of Priority Associates, Hearts Revived Ministry, and the Finley YMCA. He also serves as Chaplain for the Triangle chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and is a graduate of Bible Study Fellowship.
Office
Dr. Dodd is dedicated to improving your health and performance by alleviating joint dysfunction and nerve stress caused by spinal misalignment (subluxations). He holds weekly health care workshops which are open to the public and are designed to help people learn how to naturally improve their level of health. Dr. Dodd also lectures to schools, church groups, and other organizations on health-related topics.
Education
Dr. Crilley entered the chiropractic profession with eight years of concentrated undergraduate and graduate work. He holds two degrees, a Bachelor of Science in Excercise and Sport Science from Penn State, and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University. His post-doctorate hours include board certification in CCEP (Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioners), working toward his CACCP (Pediatric Certification), and classes on whiplash case management, extremity manipulation and sports injury management, applied anatomy, and pediatrics.
Personal Information
Dr. Crilley is a native of Greensburg, Pennsylvania. His introduction to the field of chiropractic came from a guest lecturer in one of his undergraduate classes at Penn State. Hearing the lecture prompted him to spend time with that doctor and learn the "true meaning of health and wellness for the human body." Dr. Crilley then set his sights on chiropractic school. He now strives to empower people to live healthier lives.
Dr Crilley's wife, Amy, is a preschool teacher at their church where they are both actively involved. They are blessed with one son and look forward to raising their family here in the Raleigh area, as Dr. Crilley is passionate about leading other families to wellness and health. He holds a 2nd degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and a 1st degree Black Belt in Hap Ki Do.
Aaron R. Prinkey
Education

Dr. Prinkey graduated and received his doctorate from the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2000. He earned both a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Prinkey is board certified by both the National and North Carolina Boards of Chiropractic Examiners. He stays at the leading edge of the profession through frequent interaction and sharing of information with chiropractors around the world and several here in the Triangle Area. He also attends numerous seminars each year to better serve his patients by furthering his education.
Personal Information
Before joining Team Chiropractic, he practiced with his wife Kirstin, who is also a specific corrective chiropractor. In his free time Dr. Prinkey enjoys hiking, playing guitar, motorcycling and playing with his dogs Spencer and Ziggy. He and his wife enjoy spending time at the beach, dining out and just enjoying each other’s company.
Manuel L. Mateus
Education
Dr. Mateus entered the Chiropractic profession with 10 years of concentrated undergraduate and graduate work. He holds two degrees: a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies from Criswell College in Dallas, Texas and a Doctor of Chiropractic from Parker College of Chiropractic, also in Dallas Texas. His post graduate work focuses on Applied Kinesiology. He recently graduated with a Master of Divinity degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina.
Personal Information
Dr. Mateus enjoys movies, reading, and eating. He has been married for 18 years to his beautiful wife, Elis. They have two children aged 17 and 11. They home school and currently live in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Dr. Mateus became interested in chiropractic at an early age. He was a patient of his father, who was the first chiropractor in Ecuador. He moved to the United States to pursue his chiropractic degree after seeing how it can help people. He hopes to pass this love of chiropractic down to his sons. We are excited to have Dr. Mateus sharing his passion for chiropractic and his love for people at Team Chiropractic!
