    Dr. Lawrence Dodd

    During the course of his career, Dr. Dodd has taken care of the North Carolina State and Campbell University Athletic Departments, Team Savannah Olympic Weightlifting, Sprint Capitol Olympic Track & Field Team, including Olympic Gold Medalist Shaw Crawford and many professional athletes including four from the 2014 Superbowl.

    Dr. Dodd entered the Chiropractic profession with an impressive educational background. He has ten years of concentrated undergraduate and graduate work. In addition, he has two years of intensive post-doctorate study. He holds three degrees: A Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering with an emphasis in Ergonomics (Human Factors Engineering), a Master of Science in Sports Medicine with an emphasis in prevention and care of athletic injury, and a Doctor of Chiropractic with an emphasis in extremity manipulation and pediatrics. His post-doctorate hours include board certifications in CCSP (Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician) and CCEP (Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner).

    Dr. Dodd is dedicated to improving your health and performance by alleviating joint dysfunction and nerve stress caused by spinal misalignment (subluxations). He holds weekly health care workshops, which are open to the public and are designed to help people learn how to naturally improve their level of health. Dr. Dodd also lectures to schools, church groups, and other organizations on health-related topics.

    Dr. Dodd is a Raleigh native and a graduate of Millbrook High School, where he excelled in football and track. While attending North Carolina State University on a football scholarship, Dr. Dodd suffered a career-ending neck injury. The injury introduced him to the field of Chiropractic Sports Medicine, a blessing in disguise, which changed his direction in life. He and his wife Ginny delight in their six children. They are actively involved in their church with the children and men’s ministries. He is a past board member of Priority Associates and the YMCA. He is also currently Chairman of the Board of Hearts Revived Ministry. He is also a Chaplin for FCA and a graduate of Bible Study Fellowship.

    Dr. Dave Schwartz

    Dr. Dave Schwartz joined Team Chiropractic in May of 2014 after being in solo practice for 16 years in Smithfield, NC. Dr. Schwartz grew up in New Jersey before moving to North Carolina to attend NC State University. It was during his time at NC State that a back injury caused him to see a chiropractor for the first time. His experience at the chiropractor was so positive that it led him to pursue a career in chiropractic. After graduating from NC State he attended Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, MO and graduated magna cum laude in 1997.

    Dr. Schwartz lives in Smithfield with his wife Robin, sons Mason and Hudson and dog Roxie. He enjoys playing golf, playing guitar, camping, coaching and being a Boy Scout leader. He is an active member of First Baptist Church of Smithfield. Dr. Schwartz has a passion for chiropractic and enjoys speaking to groups, businesses, clubs and organizations about the many benefits of the chiropractic lifestyle.

    Dr. Schwartz is a Fellow of the Acupuncture Society of America and has received extensive postgraduate training in the treatment of auto accident injuries, extremity conditions and pediatrics.

    Dr. Ben Mohar

    Dr. Ben Mohar joined Team Chiropractic in March of 2017 after having previously practiced in Northern Virginia. During his time in NoVA, Dr. Mohar treated hundreds of patients, along with serving as part of the medical staff for both the Western Suburbs Rugby team and Virginia Renegades semi-pro football team. He has a strong passion for helping people of all ages achieve their optimal health and function through chiropractic.

    Dr. Mohar grew up in Cary and received his undergraduate degree in Biology from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He was a 4 year starter for UNC Rugby, where he constantly exposed his body to injury and pain. Although Dr. Mohar had been to a Chiropractor as a child, it was the desire to recover from injury and stay on the field that led him to rediscover Chiropractic and all that it had to offer. His personal success with Chiropractic care led him to enroll at Sherman College of Chiropractic, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.
